Literary Giants came to life in 2017 after 18 months of canvassing ideas on how to bring this wonderful text to life.  Prior to this Mandy had spent many hours pulling together all that she had learnt, interviewing teachers and students and researching methods ultimately creating best practice processes for writing. 

 

Initially we were focused on addressing the now very divisive topic of NAPLAN.  We found ourselves getting caught in a debate we did not want to have.  Ultimately our goal was to help students in high school with their writing; be it Creative, Persuasive and Essay Writing.

Alarm bells ring when a Year 11 Teacher stops the Art History class to say; “I can’t believe I need to teach you how to write an Essay”. “No one answered the question”.
